According to the newspaper, the domestic passenger car market fell short of the result measured in the same month of the previous two years, in March 2021, 10.3 percent more new passenger cars were put on the market, and in 2020, 2.8 percent more.
As they write, there was a usurpation of the throne between the brands, in March it was no longer Suzuki that put the most passenger cars on the market - 1,278 vehicles were enough for second place - Toyota took first place with 1,537 passenger vehicles, the company covered 13.78 percent of the market .
Ford is in third place with 869 new passenger cars placed on the market, followed by Volkswagen and then Kia with 834 and 821 vehicles, respectively. Toyota also took the lead in a quarterly comparison.
Most of the new registered passenger cars came from the lower-middle C segment in the first three months, with a 27 percent share of 7,760 cars in this category. The B SUV is in second place with 5,772 vehicles, the C SUV is in third place with 4,995, and the B small cars are in fourth place with 2,448 vehicles.
