Subaru’s U.S. subsidiary also got involved in organizing a car meeting where the biggest car parade of all time would be overturned, with participating vehicles of the same brand. The Guinness record attempt will be in Costa Mesa, California on Sunday.
Organizers expect more than 2,000 Subaru owners who, if standing behind each other, can form a caravan longer than 2 miles. However, this is not enough to make a record decision, as Jeep is currently at the top of the relevant list: in 2015, the brand’s owners gathered 2,420 at a meeting in Pennsylvania, 4.4 kilometers long.
The Subaru meeting will certainly be a brand record, with 549 cars gathered at a meeting in Moscow five years ago. The current event will also have a noble goal, as each participant must support an organization with at least $ 5 to help local food banks.
The only beauty flaw of the event is that drivers are not allowed to leave their cars during the meeting, and if they pull down their windows, they are required to wear a mask.
