Citroën has transformed its simple lower-middle-class model into a pretty off-road coupe. It will also be available with the new C4 electric motor.
Citroën will unveil it in late June, but to the extent of a few photos, it has already sketched the successor to the C4, which will transform from a lower-middle-class hatchback to an urban crossover. The model will technically be a relative of Peugeot 2008, inheriting its full driveline range, including a local emission-free option with a 136-horsepower electric motor and a 50 kWh battery.
Still, the C4 will not be a simple clone, as it will receive Citroën's progressive hydraulic bumper damping in its chassis, as well as an innovation designed to improve passenger comfort, the details of which will not be announced until the end of June.
