The car owner considered moving his Ford Escort car from its parking space after 15 years. However, the iron teeth of time did not spare the car.
According to Tim Ward, in 2005 or maybe 2006, he parked his 1990s red car in front of their former family home in Wilsden, England. Since he left the car alone, he has not been there or moved it. So when he returned to his old home a few days ago, only parts of the vehicle were visible, as it had been completely covered in amber for the past three years, Newsweek reports.
Ward was asked by his mother, who lived across the street, to leave the car there after she moved out, for emotional and safety reasons. Tim's mother died in 2016, and because of his emotional attachment to his late mother, he didn't have the heart to take the car.
Overgrown with ivy, the Ford eventually became a local attraction. Tim Ward once even considered turning the wonder train into a cafe.
In the end, however, he made the difficult decision:
"He has to go. …Enough time has passed. I was too emotionally attached to him to take the car away first."
