At Fiat's factory in Italy, preparations have been made to manufacture the Jeep Renegade PHEV version.
Jeep introduces the hybrid hybrid of the Renegade urban off-road vehicle at the beginning of 2020, a year and a half. Renegade PHEV will be located in the same plant on the same production line as the model with internal combustion engine designs. At the same time, they are also producing their renegade twin brother, the Fiat 500X.
Jeep Renegade PHEV pre-production copies will be released in 2019. € 200 million will be spent on preparing the new drive chain for the Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), including the training of the workforce.
Connector Hybrid Jeep plays an important role in FCA's electrification strategy, which has so far released the Chrysler Pacifica minivan and the Ram 1500 pickup-enhanced version of the e-Torque mild hybrid technology. By 2022, the Group offers a total of twelve different, fully or partially electric drives, which will be incorporated into 30 different types.
