The Grand Cherokee will remain Jeep’s flagship for a long time to come: although it has only been introduced as a study for the time being, the Grand Wagoneer is coming soon.
The original Jeep Grand Wagoneer came on the scene in 1984 and pampered its customers with comfort features that could only be expected of luxury sedans at the time - spoiled, of course, by the off-road and towing capabilities familiar from the Jeep brand.
Now it will be the Grand Wagoneer again, or at least it could be: the Jeep has presented the huge car as a study for the time being. The exact dimensions are not yet known, but it is revealing that only two seats were placed in the back row, but three monitors (all three 10.1 inches) were placed here: one in front of the passengers and a third in the middle. comfort functions.
The front passenger also got a separate screen, by the way: it's just 10.25 inches like the lower, secondary display in the center console; the primary touch screen is 12.1 inches and the digital instrument panel is 12.3 inches. The air conditioner divides the three-row passenger compartment, which is made of sustainable materials, into four zones. However, this is not the only eco-friendly feature of the study car: it is powered by a plug-in hybrid resource.
In addition, it has retained its expected off-road capability while providing road comfort with air suspension and independent front and rear wheel suspension.
The Grand Wagoneer is just part of the brand’s renewal program: the smaller Wagoneer will soon arrive as well, which could trace its bloodline back to 1962.
