Rolled out by the Italian automaker at the 2019 Red Dot Design Award: Ferrari's three cars have won a race back 65 years.
Not only the car profession, outsiders also recognize Ferrari's work. In 2019, the Italian design team received the Red Dot: Design Team of the Year award.
Red Dot, one of the world's oldest and most prestigious design awards, has been awarded since 1955 by the Essen-based North Rhine-Westphalia Design Center. They categorize the crop of the year in three categories - product, concept and communication - usually reviewing more than 15,000 entries to find the best design.
The plans out of the hands of a team led by Flavio Manzini have led to many Red Dot successes over the years. This year, many of their cars have been honored, including the Red Dot Award for the 488 Pistas and the Sp38.
