The Mini is also being updated

The Mini Countryman, introduced in 2017, has been renewed. The changes are listed below.

The nose part has been changed, the LED headlight and fog light are now standard. A new option is the adaptive matrix LED headlight, which adapts to corners, and above 70 km / h it can be switched to dipped separately in four segments, thus preventing blinding from the front. At the rear, like the hatchback Mini, the (half) British flag is patterned by the chrome-framed luminaire, but now the rim is also available with Union Jack-designed spokes.

The look is enhanced by two new body colors (silver, green), the roof and mirror housing can be black, white or silver. An external optical package with piano lacquer in which the otherwise chrome-plated elements are gleaming black is also available on request. The wheels offer a new design in 17 and 19 inch sizes.

The range of leather colors and two-tone designs has expanded in the passenger compartment, and previously exclusive decor packages can be ordered more widely.

The engines have been adapted to the latest emission standards, with all new ISG starter / generator units. Gasoline engines (102 -178 hp) use an inlet and turbocharger integrated in the cylinder head, the crankcase cooling can be reduced at part load, while the petrol injection pressure has increased from 200 to 350 bar. For diesels (116-190 hp), the dual-blown turbocharger used so far only in the most powerful version (Cooper SD) has also been given to the Cooper D. The plug-in hybrid remains the most powerful, with the 220-horsepower unit available exclusively with all-wheel drive.
