The novelty of the VW Group's Czech brand boasts a very serious range even without a diesel engine.
At the beginning of May, Skoda unveiled the fourth-generation Fabia, which can be considered a new development from the first to the last screw, about which new details of the market launch have now been revealed.
The Czech manufacturer has reported that four of the five new engines available in the new Fabia have a WLTP range of more than 900 kilometers. True to this, you need to order the optional 50-liter fuel tank, the model is fitted with a 40-liter tank by default.
The 1-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine is available in 65 and 80 hp versions and has a five-speed manual transmission next to it, as is the basic 95-horsepower turbo version. The 110-horsepower turbo version is equipped with a six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.
The pinnacle is the 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder petrol unit, which can be disengaged at part load, with 150 horsepower delivered to the front wheels via a DSG transmission.
This design accelerates from a standstill to 100 in 8 seconds and has a top speed of 225 km / h. By comparison, the base model can roll down 0-100 in 15.9 seconds and can roll with a maximum of 172.
