The Hungarian road users paid a record amount of HUF 186.3 billion in the first half of this year, 15% more than in the same period last year.
According to the National Road Payment Service Provider (NÚSZ) Zrt., Gross purchases of e-stickers amounted to HUF 48.5 billion, up 11% over the first half of last year. In the e-toll system, gross revenue of HUF 137.8 billion was generated from the use of trucks over 3.5 tons, which was 19 percent higher than in the first half of the previous year.
According to NÚSZ, there has been a tendency for years to see that the growth of road premiums also increases with economic growth. The toll is a budget revenue that is spent on maintaining, maintaining and improving domestic roads.
According to the plans, the control activities of the NSZSZ have been strengthened, as the number of people using roads without payment has increased in recent years, especially among foreigners.
