Toyota is a popular car brand and many people probably know the Land Cruiser. If nothing else, then from American movies.
It is no coincidence that the Land Cruiser was so liked and used in American adventure films. This vehicle can also cope with serious terrain.
The model has been around since 1951 and was designed for the US Army to travel on tough terrain, but it is not too big. Toyota was entrusted with this task. The BJ was completed, which functioned well in the war, but the civilians also liked it, so the street version was completed. It was then named Land Cruiser.
And now Toyota has come up with something new. It is called the FJ Bruiser.
It got the frame of the FJ65 off-road vehicle of the 60s, and put an even thicker fall tube underneath, which was built into the frame. During the suspension, the possible terrain conditions were taken into account and treated accordingly. A robust vehicle needs a powerful engine, so a V8 engine with 725 horsepower and operated from a NASCAR Cup Car was included.
