Normally, you risk a serious accident that drives the handbrake at a speed of 200 km / h. But what happens when there is an electric parking brake in the car?
It is not advisable to drive the handbrake at high speeds for sleep books, physics and so on for any reason, otherwise a very bad accident can occur. In addition to the fact that the structure does not work well, the trolley becomes completely unmanageable, and it is only a matter of luck how much a person can go with such a healthy skin. But what if the electric handbrake is in the car instead of the traditional one, and let's say it at 193 km / hs?
The British TopGear team was looking for an answer to this question. The subject of the test is a Volkswagen Golf R that was driven at an airport. The presenter, Chris Harris, accelerated the car up to the speed mentioned above (which, according to Germany, is on the highway) and then pulled the electric parking brake. Later he did it again, to see how it could "slip" the back of the car. We wouldn't shoot the poem, we would rather show the video:
