Opel is making a really spectacular concept this year, which will show you the direction in which the PSA takes over the power of the lightning brand. The Germans have now made us some of the screenshots, which include a video that finally discards the name of the novelty. Opel promises, in the mid-2020s, that their model will receive the formatted language that the novelty anticipates.
GT X Experimental, this is the name for the spectacular concept that, according to Opel's nomenclature, will be a sporty crossover - and this is shared by shared performers. Nowadays, it is almost possible to sell a car at elevated heights, so it is not surprising that the lightning strike is also designed with such a concept, but it will also show the sporty side of the factory. For the time being we can only see some details of the novelty, but we can expect a really spectacular model on these.
The veil was, in fact, inaugurated by Michael Lohscheller, CEO of Opel, revealing the new face of the brand, which would be dominated by rectangular shapes. The LED daytime running lights of the Opel Compass (ie Opel Compass) fanciest are even sharper than before, and compasses the mid-edge of the bonnet and the bumper to complement the picture - which can be seen in one of the photos.
The other characteristic element is the chrome frame, which is called the Vizor, which can be referred to as a grille, but includes the Opel logo that illuminates the concept, the various sensors and the front headlights - otherwise the plexus inspired by the helmet. The Opel Compass and the Vizor will almost certainly come back to the newer generation of lightning strikes, but this new form language will only emerge in 2025, but there is likely to be some kind of transition. For the new Corsa coming next year, it is likely that there will still be no sign of change, but in the case of the new Astra coming near 2020, there may already be common points.
Of course, GT X Experimental does not know much about the shapes, but in the small video, a momentary striking dashboard - with a visible charge on the left side - is an electric model that can show a range of nearly 500 kilometers. We are looking forward to what's new in the fall, but we still have some more information about it.
