This year, the new generation of Opel's small car is coming with intense mass reduction, PSA engines and an electric drive chain.
The next generation of Opel Corsa was tested in Lapland. The Scandinavian test program was used for final tuning of the chassis and traction control systems, as well as the cold tolerance of mechanical and electrical systems.
The new Corsa will not only be lighter than its predecessor, but will also be more economical, partly due to improved aerodynamics and partly thanks to more modern engines.
The extended wheelbase and the extended length allow for more space and a larger boot, and for the same reason it is not sure that the three-door body, which so far has been comfortable with the short side wall, is more comfortable to board.
The biggest new feature of the Opel Corsa utilizing PSA's CMP floorboard is the electric version, but a new 1.5-liter diesel engine (75-120 hp) is also available, while the three-cylinder, 1.2-petrol engine will be more economical. If the sporty version is retained in the supply, it can be marketed with a 1.6 turbo engine.
The modern floor panel also comes with modern technologies, from glare-free LED matrix headlights to advanced driver support safety systems.
