Aerodynamic characteristics are highlighted by the special three-tone paint used on the McLaren 720S Spider.
McLaren has chosen the Geneva Motor Show to officially launch the top-of-the-line version of the brand, the 720S Spider. In the car's technique it doesn't bring a new one to the coupé version, but they tried to make it interesting for customers who like uniqueness. Several luxury brands have already reported that their unique blossoms have been built for the second time, so designers and engineers are working more and more at McLaren Special Operations. That's why they created a special, three-tone finish.
Coloris called this three-tone color, using Cerulean blue, Burton blue and Abyss black. The MSO took more than 260 hours of operation, but there are no doubt very delicate transitions on the 720S. With this, they wanted to emphasize the importance of aerodynamics for the car, the blue parts highlighting the parts where the air touches the Meteorite gray car. These are complemented with carbon elements, super light 10-spoke rims and an electrochrome glass roof that darkens at the touch of a button.
The McLaren 720S Spider is powered by a 4-liter biturbo V8 engine, with a surprising 720 horsepower, with a torque of 770 Nm. Compared to the closed version, only 49 kg is more difficult for the Spider. From a standing position to a speed of 100, it accelerates in 2.9 seconds, with an open roof up to 325 km / h.
