Volkswagen continues T-Cross's taste of T-Roc's small brother (Seat Arona's Wolfsburg equivalent). The latest video shows that they continue to adopt a more courageous approach, meaning that the designers tried to create a cool, youthful model. How this happened, we will know this this year.
The T-Cross will arrive under the T-Roc , so we will consider Seat Arona's brother as dimensions - and of course the basics. The T-Cross is exactly 4107 mm long, but despite this, the company promises a spacious passenger and luggage compartment - for example, thanks to the sliding rear seat, which can be looked at in the latest designs. The size of the luggage compartment will be 385 liters, but seats up to 455 liters can be pushed forward, while 1281 liters of seatbacks can also be folded down - but the back of the passenger seat can be overthrown.
It was already clear from the first drawings, but the prototypes that were matched further reinforce the conviction that the small crossover followed by the T-Roc and the other brothers will be followed by a crossover, so we will get headlamps and a serious face with the cooler.
On the back, however, the headlamps in the middle will appear as a novelty in Volkswagen's range. However, this is not such a surprise to the engineers, since such luminaires are quite fashionable - just think of Audira, but several examples could be made. In the passenger compartment, the forms of Polo will almost certainly come back, so we can not expect much surprise - but there will be color pads and other good things.
Technology will not be left behind by the brothers in the T-Cross: driving support and security systems will be introduced, such as the lane or the adaptive cruise control. The most popular member of the motorbike is likely to be Volkswagen's one-liter three-cylinder turbo that is likely to have 90 and 115 hp. It may well be that the larger 150 horsepower 1.5 will be in the car, while the 1.6-liter TDI can be an alternative in the diesel range. For the time being, it is not known whether four-wheel drive will be available: although it is not in this category at all, but there is some chance for Volkswagen.
Unfortunately, the Volkswagen Group has also come into the line and it seems that boycotting major car shows with several other car makers - the novelties are presented in an event of their own. Why? On the one hand, every car manufacturer attempts to throw a big deal at the time of the car salons, and the novelty is easily disappearing in the resulting news story. On the other hand, car makers are influenced by external times, which requires greater adaptation. Thirdly, the manufacturer asks for an own event, so it can positively influence the initial acceptance of the model, which actively contributes to the success of a model - indeed it distorts reality. Instead of the October Motor Show in Paris, it is likely that this will be the T-Cross this year.
