It officially has a date after which all Alfa, DS and Lancia electric drives will be given.
Stellantis, which merges Fiat-Chrysler and PSA Peugeot-Citroen, has announced that it will convert the Alfa Romeo and Lancia models to electricity over the next 5-6 years. And the French DS will also be available with electric drive only from 2024, and the internal combustion versions of the current palette will be available for purchase for some time to come.
Stellantis is working hard to expand its range of electric models. In just two years, a total of 10 plug-in hybrids and 11 all-electric models will arrive in the company’s palette, CEO Carlos Tavares said.
The group’s net profit in 2021 has been € 5.8 billion so far, compared to a loss of more than € 800 million in the first half of last year. The company plans to be the market leader in low-emission vehicles.
