570 liters of luggage, but the Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo Touring is not an interesting one, but a 322 km / h speed. This is the fastest production line in the world.
Burkard Bovensiepen founded Alpina in 1965, with a team of only eight at the start. Already at that time, he worked on increasing the performance of BMWs, and then in 1983 he was recognized as an independent car manufacturer. Accordingly, their cars are run with a separate chassis number, for which the current BMW models are still used today.
The Alpina's recipe is very simple, and they offer a modest and elegant package of dynamics for M models. The B5 Bi-Turbo is just like that, apparently a Touring 5, which is actually the world's fastest serial production combination.
In this case, the G31 is powered by a 4.4-liter biturbo gasoline engine that delivers 608 hp in peak power between 5750 and 6250 revolutions, and 800 Nm from 3000 to 5000 torque. It features an 8-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive combined with a revised chassis. From a standing position to a speed of 100 at 3.7 seconds, the 5-meter, 2.1-ton wide-combi accelerates, allowing the whole family to ride up to 322 km / h.
