Motorists can communicate with each other by entering the license plate number through the free Car Guard application.
The idea popped out of the minds of a young Hungarian couple after they had to ride their car for the third time before work, that they needed a mobile phone application in which they could send a message directly to car owners about forgotten headlights and more.
This is how the Car Guard application was born a year ago and has been used by thousands. With one click, you can notify the owner if you notice any problems with the car: for example, if you are parked in the wrong place, being towed, or if the alarm is on. But you can also send a message about dripping oil or a flat wheel right away.
You can receive messages by registering the license plate in the app. A license plate can have one holder, but more than one person can be notified if the owner so decides. The system is anonymous.
Since the last update, an alert can now be sent via Viber and Facebook Messenger.
