The transition to an electric car takes time, because such a vehicle is a luxury for many. However, the Hungarian government still encourages the population to replace their old cars with electric ones.
The competition in the electric car market is huge. Many different brands offer their new vehicles to customers. Undoubtedly, the goal is to reduce the use of internal combustion engine cars, but more environmentally friendly vehicles are still out of reach for many.
However, our hands are tied, because from 2030 the production of traditional cars will be stopped and from 2035 they will no longer be allowed to drive on the roads. For this reason, they try to issue vehicles with more affordable prices.
The Hungarian government has already taken steps to make electric cars more attractive to the population and has also offered subsidies for their purchase. Now he wants to motivate the Hungarians with another step: 60 billion will be spent on developing the charging network, i.e. new and high-capacity charging stations will be put on the market. Measured in numbers, this will mean 170 new filling stations, which will be put into service within two years.
