Toyota has partnered with Joby Aviation and Hyundai with Uber Elevate, a taxi provider, to expand its offerings in the next few years.
For the most part, Hyundai itself is preparing to develop its purely electric structure, so-called PAV (Personal Air Vehicle) for the time being. The plane (pictured above) can carry four passengers in addition to the pilot, with a range of up to 100 kilometers. The machine is planned to be operated by Uber Elevate.
Toyota, on the other hand, does not invest in technical knowledge, but in money - exactly $ 394 million - in the development of the Joby C aircraft. It will also be electric, and like the Hyundai-Uber aircraft, it will be able to take off and land vertically (VTOL).
