The Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato is coming soon, this year's ultra-limited series built in honor of Zagato, a hundred years old. You can only buy it if you order another Aston Martin - no matter what.
Sixty years of working together with Aston Martin and Zagato. To celebrate this, and the last hundredth birthday, a special sports car is being built in a 19-piece series.
The Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato is based on the recently launched DBS Superlegger, based on the most brutal road of all time, Aston Martin.
The most important distinguishing feature is the double bubble that extends from the top edge of the windscreen to the tail: designers considered the rear windscreen superfluous.
Not only does the roof quote classic Zagato works; the vibrant curves and reliefs, the muscular wheel drums, the special headlamps and the wheels, as well as the unique cooling mask all recall the classic style of the former DB4 GT Zagato - the similarity is more than conscious, the creators strive to create a worthy successor to the legendary sports car.
The Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato is not available on its own, but is available in a pair (see our opening screen) of the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation, built using original DB4 designs and parts from the 50s, exclusively for the racetrack. One package costs six million pounds plus taxes. The first copies of the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation will be sold at the end of the year, the DBS GT Thievers one year later.
