BMW's new plug-in hybrid sedan will be available next summer; 330e can take up to 60 kilometers without emissions.
50% farther than its predecessor: up to 60 kilometers, you can get the power of a 12 kWh lithium-ion battery, the BMW 330e, the brand-new mid-range plug-in hybrid sedan. The battery is a minimum of the rack, with a capacity of 375 liters.
New to the four-cylinder petrol engine (184 hp) is the new XtraBoost: BMW's first-ever function has temporarily increased the power of the drive chain from 252 horsepower to 293 horsepower (in Hungarian: the constant power of the electric motor is 68 horsepower, but its peak power reaches 109 horsepower). XtraBoost can be used anytime when there is only one drop of charge in the battery.
Fuel consumption dropped by 10 percent: under ideal conditions, the car runs at 1.7 liters.
With a 420 Nm system torque, the 0-100 acceleration takes 6.0 seconds and the final speed is 230 km / h. In pure electric operation, the car can reach 140 km / h, as opposed to 120 km / h so far, but if we stay in hybrid mode, the petrol engine will be switched on only 110 km / h. When only the electric motor drives, an acoustic signal alerts the pedestrians to the silent approaching vehicle.
The electric motor has been integrated into the eight-speed automatic transmission, the latter being only 15 mm longer after blending.
