An independent start-up copied the iconic frog car of the fifties and brought it back as an electric city car.
The name of Microlino will be available next year as a dream by a Swiss inventor, Wim Ouboter, a spiritual heir to BMW Isetta. In every element of the 2.4-meter car, you copy the original, except that it is driven by an electric motor.
Its maximum speed is 90 km / h, and two types of batteries are available: they have recently been homologated in the European Union, so it can be officially stated that one can make 126 or 202 kilometers with a single charge. The Microlino project was launched in 2015, a year later, the first prototype was completed, and production in this year could start when everything goes well. There are three Microlino cars in a normal parking space, so perhaps not so crazy about the 12,000 euros planned.
Ouboter has also developed wheeled micro-vehicles so far: rollers, running bikes, wheeled suitcases serving as baby carriages, and so on.
