The BMW M340i, powered by the G-Power 510 horsepower, promises acceleration of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 330 km / h.
With 343 horsepower, the E46's BMW M3 3.2-liter intake in-line engine accelerates to 100 in 5.2 seconds. In contrast, from the new BMW M340i, the heavier Touring version’s 3.0-liter in-line turbo engine already has 374 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. And so he beats nearly 2 seconds to the 2000s sports coup in a sprint. From here, however, the 20 years of development can be seen very well, but G-Power has been able to enhance this.
G-Power's basic package, the GP-420, can be escaped without any hardware intervention. With this small software modification, the M340i will have 420 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque will be released from the engine. For 470 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque (GP-470), it is already necessary to purchase a sports catalytic converter with a new catalytic converter. This is pretty much the level your new M3 entry model will know.
The GP-510 is called the pinnacle of the G-Power M340i, where the turbocharger is also replaced with a larger one, so it can easily come out with 510 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque. This improves 0-100 for 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 330 km / h. By the way, the 470 rider version runs under the 4-second limit.
