Shapely recreational car with plug-in rechargeable drive and BMW logo on the front. The X2 xDrive25e takes everything to success.
Probably BMW’s trendiest model is the plug-in X2, as it knows everything you would expect from a car today. The RV look is a fashion, as is the sporty shape that pushes the practicum into the background a bit. In addition, the BMW X2 xDrive25e is a plug-in hybrid that can glide in the zero-emission mode in the city center and proudly carry the Hungarian green license plate.
Apart from its single chrome exhaust and the charging port on the fender, there is nothing else to suggest that this X2 is worth charging not only at the gas station but also from the outlet. The BMW plug-in hybrid compact leisure car promises an average consumption of 1.9 liters and a combined energy consumption of 13.7 kWh / 100 km. The point, however, is that you can do up to 57 kilometers in zero-emission mode with a single charge.
The X2 xDrive25e has a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine capable of 125 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque per se. It comes with an electric drive capable of 95 horses and 165 Nm of torque. The system produces 220 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque. All in all, the plug-in X2 accelerates to 100 in 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 195 km / h.
It stores energy in a 10 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that can be charged from a household outlet in 5 hours. It reaches 80% charge in just over 3.5 hours. This time can be accelerated to around 3 hours with the BMW i Wallbox wall charger. The battery is located under the rear seat, so the boot is 410 liters (just a few liters less than the plain X2).
