What happens if the LED headlamps burn out? We can't change, but can we go on?
More and more affordable car brands are available with LED headlights. We all know that LED is a cool thing, it is more economical, it shines with brighter light, and it can do extreme tricks, but what if the system is full? Can you improve with backyard methods? Need to replace the entire lamp for a medium asset? And what about the policeman for the one-eyed car? We're trying to figure it out.
Why do we love LED?
The LED typically has a higher color temperature of 6000 Kelvin at halogen than the human eye, perhaps because it is closer to the usual natural sunlight. The light beam can be better handled - think of, for example, the matrix solutions used in the Mazdas, where many small light sources provide the light beam leaving the luminaire.
They can be controlled so that the oncoming car or its driver can be shielded while driving, while the rest of the road is perfectly illuminated by the lamp. In addition, the human eye sees the cooler, bluish-white light of the LED as brighter than the warm white.
How long do LEDs last?
In theory, the LED headlamp is an eternal piece, with a lifetime of around 20-50,000 hours, so the diodes continue to function like the car itself. Of course, the electronics in front of it can even ruin happily, but on paper the LED can last much longer than a conventional bulb. Yeah, and its efficiency is ten times better than the bulb, so it produces the same light output with much less energy.
