According to Canadian law, drivers should pass a distance of 1 meter along with cyclists, but not everyone does it, which often results in an accident. The Toronto bikes have therefore come up with an effective solution.
One of the most common conflicts between wheelchairs and drivers is that drivers do not have enough sideways distance from cyclists when passing by. This is a serious problem in many respects, as cyclists often have to change their course suddenly - for example, if someone wants to get out of a car park without looking into the rearview mirror.
The situation does not help the domestic CCP unequivocally say how much distance should be left when passing, only writing to have the "right side distance". That's why domestic cycling professionals have already suggested, let's be a definite definition of what motorcyclists need to take into consideration when they get out of the bicycle. It is planned to keep a minimum of 1.5 meters outside the residential area within a populated area.
