Mazda’s 570-horsepower Wankel-powered race car is complete. The RX-Vision GT3 is beautiful and can be driven by anyone - it only exists in digital form.
Starting today, the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Concept can be downloaded to the Gran Turismo Sport car simulator game software. Developed from the Mazda RX-Vision study car introduced in 2015, the virtual race car is not real, but it has been developed according to serious requirements: on the one hand it complies with the FIA GT3 regulations and on the other hand it meets the requirements of Gran Turismo Sport Gr.3 class.
The RX-Vision's passenger cell and doors are the same as the original study car, the track was widened at both the front and rear, and the wheel arches were extended. A huge air outlet on the bonnet helps cool the engine as well as general aerodynamics. The clamping force is increased by air deflectors and a rear diffuser. The car's ground clearance and roof height have been reduced, and its weight has been reduced by stripping the passenger compartment and using lightweight materials. The rear axle is loaded with 52 percent of the total weight.
The four-disc Skyactiv-R engine is installed behind the front axle and has a maximum output of 570 horsepower.
