Hyundai has collaborated with a Boston start-up company to jointly develop hybrid electric automated drones.
Hyundai would switch from two to three-dimensional traffic and, to that end, entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Top Flight. The latter's self-developed power / electric drone can fly for up to two hours, carrying at least 4 kg of load.
Although Hyundai will hardly open up an air-taxi service, the aviation logistics and mapping technologies used in superdrive control may be of interest to the Korean group, trying to get into the most diverse aspects of mobility beyond its car manufacturers.
