After the all-wheel drive crossover, here’s the lower-powered, front-wheel-drive DS 7 Crossback E-Tense variant.
After the 300-horsepower, double-electric variant, another, cheaper plug-in hybrid version was added to the DS 7 Crossback model family.
The 180-horsepower, 300 Nm two-liter petrol engine is connected to a 110-horsepower, 320 Nm electric motor integrated in the transmission, and the battery has a capacity of 13.2 kWh. The system output is 225 hp and the combined peak torque is 360 Nm. Standard equipment includes a camera-controlled intelligent, electronically controlled suspension.
The 13.2 kWh battery installed under the floor allows an electric range of 55 km (WLTP standard). CO2 emissions range from 31 to 36 g, while weighted mixed consumption ranges from 1.4 to 1.6 l / 100 km (WLTP). At high speeds, consumption varies from 6.1 to 6.5 l / 100 km, depending on the equipment.
While the all-wheel drive variant starts at over HUF 21 million, by leaving the extra electric motor and 75 horsepower, we can save almost HUF 5 million; the incoming PHEV model can be taken from 16.4 million.
Production of the DS 7 Crossback E-Tense 225 will begin in 2020.
