Baojun has introduced a 300-kilometer electric box truck designed specifically for urban use.
Electric propulsion is becoming more and more available and you can now get not only huge batteries in the zero-emission version, but also small cars like the Peugeot 208. There are also more and more electric cars among the city minis, such as the Smart ForTwo, which is no longer available with a petrol engine. The opponent of this will be the Chinese Baojun E300.
The small moving box, which implemented the format study presented last December with unexpected fidelity, will be offered for HUF 2.8 million, and both the E300 and the E300 Plus will receive a 31.9 kWh battery pack that can be charged from a 220 V socket in 15 hours. . However, with a quick charger, the battery can be charged to 80% within 1 hour. With a single charge, Baojun can cover roughly 300 kilometers.
With 53 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque, the car has a top speed of 100 km / h, so it's enough for a city car. The shorter wheelbase version can accommodate three passengers, while the longer version can accommodate up to four people. The car is made of 80% high-strength steel and special care has been taken to protect the battery pack from damage even in the event of a major collision.
The smaller model has a wheelbase of just over 1.7 meters and the larger 2.6 meters. Both are 1.6 meters wide and 158 inches high.
It comes with alloy wheels, multifunction steering wheel, digital dashboard and four-way front seats as standard. Extras include navigation and voice-activated WeChat. The onboard system is supplied by Huawei.
