In just 130 copies, the Lotus Evija, Britain's first electric hyperport car, will be produced. Not only is Evija new in its powertrain.
With its all-new design language, the one-of-a-kind carbon fiber monocoque chassis unique to street Lotus models, the Evija, the UK's first electric car, introduces.
Behind the seats in the two-seat car is a 2000 kilowatt battery pack developed by Williams Advanced Engineering. Batteries are easy to replace, keeping the car up to date with improvements, and quickly ready for use again, enabling competitive use.
The target weight of the car is just 1,680 kg, which is staggering at 2000 horsepower (also referred to as a development target) (1700 Nm of torque). The clearance height is 105 mm.
Powered by five tuning modes, from economy to race mode, the Evija does not take 3 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h and top speeds of over 320 km / h. From standstill, the car accelerates to 300 in less than 9 seconds.
