Ford started to electrify a lot of electricity. Its two-person model also comes with a gasoline-electric drive chain, some of which already have details.
No less than sixteen Ford models will receive a fully or partially electric drive chain in the near future. Two of them were dedicated to a large team of people.
The eight-person Ford Tourneo Custom Plug-In Hybrid is a one-liter, three-cylinder, three-cylinder petrol engine this time, not a primary resource, it's just a power generator: 50 in pure electric mode, 500 km in range, using a range boost.
Under the floor, the water-cooled battery pack has a capacity of 13.6 kWh. 10 amps, powered by 240 volts, can be fully recharged over three years from an industrial power source.
The brake energy recovery (and the engine brake) can be adjusted in two stages.
According to preliminary calculations, the model's CO2 emissions are 75 g / km.
Soon, a 7-person Explorer Plug-In Hybrid model will be introduced, so no detailed information is available yet.
