The Genesis G80 limousine has been renewed. The new generation has been given the nose design (and presumably its technologies) of the recently introduced GV80.
Genesis G80, a mid-range sedan from the Korean premium brand, has entered its third series. The horizontally split headlight and shield-shaped grille made its debut on the G90 luxury sedan and GV80 recreational vehicle, fortunately the G80 adapts to a more mature, less divisive interpretation of the latter.
Aside from that, the car’s basic character - rear-wheel drive and finely crafted coupe roofing - has been retained. The double bands of the headlamp and the rear luminaire are integrated by a light source behind the wheel drum that mimics the air exchange opening.
In the cabin, they tried to keep the technology in the background. However, the car also got a 14.5-inch widescreen infotainment screen. The air intake is narrow, horizontal, elegant. The designers took the A-pillars narrower (view!).
Information on drive chains, chassis and other functions will be published later by the factory.
