Time passes and everything changes. What was once good and salable, is certainly not nearly as big a star later on. This can also be felt in the case of Volvo.
Volvo models with diesel engines were sought-after and sold very well. However, at the New York climate week, Volvo announced something that sealed the fate of diesel. From the beginning of 2024, they will completely end their production and will only sell the pieces that are currently being made.
From 2030, Volvo aims to sell only electric cars. It is interesting that even in 2019 diesel Volvos were the best sellers, but now their number is negligible. In other words, this also means that the brand was able to remove diesel products from its range very quickly.
