A copy of Smart Forfour was made in China; the electric dwarf car might have been even nicer than the original.
Launched as a joint development by Renault and Smart, Smart Forfour's styling elements, soon to be available exclusively with electric drive, blatantly unveil the first type of the new electrical brand ORA of the Great Wall Motor Chinese car factory.
The 35 kW (48 hp) electric engine of the four-wheeled car, called the ORA R1, sounds quite dull as the manufacturer cannot be proud of the 100 km / h speed. In exchange, however, the range (325 km) is excellent, and the purchase price is even more favorable: depending on the equipment, they are asking for a yuan for a price of 2.5-3.2 million HUF (including state support).
In addition, the car is guaranteed by the manufacturer for 3 years / 120 thousand kilometers, and for the main pieces 8 years / 150 thousand kilometers.
For the time being, ORA R1 is only available in China, but the brand has an international career in the Great Wall Motor, so sooner or later, the Smart Clone can appear in Europe.
