Last year, GreenGo's fleet grew by more than fifty percent to 500 cars, its service area expanded to 100 square kilometers, the rental period doubled, and the company's customers traveled twice as many kilometers with borrowed vehicles than the previous year, the car-sharing service provider informed MTI on Monday.
It was recalled that employers can provide community car sharing tax- and contribution-free as a benefit on top of the basic salary in accordance with the current tax legislation.
By using the electric fleet, the users freed the air of Budapest from the emission of more than 1,300 tons of extra carbon dioxide last year, they pointed out.
According to the announcement, the company's customers mainly used the service provider's vehicles for shopping, trips and visiting spas near Budapest.
GreenGo's net sales in 2021 amounted to HUF 658 million, which, according to publicly available data, exceeded HUF 553 million a year earlier by 18.9 percent. The company's loss after tax increased to HUF 903 million the year before last, from HUF 672 million in 2020.
