Next spring, the Hyundai i20 N Line, the smallest car to date, will arrive. There will be no motor tuning, no more optical.
Hyundai has made the N Line sports version of the new i20. This is not to be confused with the i20 N, which we first encountered on a rumor level a year and a half ago, and about which there is no definite news since then: the N Line sacrifices, without motor tuning, exclusively optical modifications on the altar of sportiness.
Redesigned grille, modified bumpers, gray character lines, limited color range: Hyundai says that's enough to beat the customer's heart faster. Unique sports seats, red stitches, metal pedals and a sports steering wheel in the passenger compartment promote dynamism. That’s not to be missed if you opt for the 120-horsepower, 1.0-liter turbocharged engine, but there are two other engines to choose from: one is the 100-horsepower output of the same unit and the other is the 84-horsepower 1.2.
