In Budapest, Ford

The new European business service center in Ford was opened on Friday in Budapest.

Ford announced that it will start operations at the Vaci Greens office building in Budapest with several marketing, manufacturing planning and other European functions, including its new regional HR service center serving Europe, the Middle East and Africa. A similar office in Budapest will open in India and Mexico, providing these HR services to Ford's business activities around the world from these three centers.

In addition to the new office, Ford is present in Hungary at three locations - in Budapest, in two office buildings and in Szentendre, currently employing more than 500 Hungarian engineers and economists specializing in different marketing, sales, financial, pricing, manufacturing planning, engineering and now HR areas.

A number of financial, product design, product management, marketing controlling, and after sales functions across all of Ford's markets in Europe, as well as a number of global 41 markets serving the world market, will be transferred to the Budapest Knowledge Center.

By the end of the year, the number of Ford's domestic employees is expected to increase to nearly 600.
