The Honda Goldwing will receive an important expansion this summer: with a software update, it will be able to serve Android Auto features, so we will soon be able to securely manage the content stored on the phone on the go.
Introduced in 2018, the Honda Gold Wing is not only more comfortable but also smarter than most cars. After receiving its air predecessor, airbag, anti-lock braking system, graphical navigation system, heated seat and steering wheel, and foot heater grilles, the sixth-generation model received an electronic throttle, selectable modes, traction control, electronically controlled suspension, and a dual-clutch gearshift with reversing mode.
Already at that time, the Apple CarPlay integration appeared on the engine, which was now supplemented by the factory with the Android Auto option in 2020, so we can now safely make phone calls from the engine saddle regardless of platform (another issue is that some studies also distract the driver.
On board the Gold Wing, Android Auto can be operated with voice control, so we don't have to press buttons or screens. In the future, by the way, both systems will also appear on additional Honda motorcycle models.
