The renewed Toyota Prius Plug-in for the 2019 model year is already fulfilling the emission standards that will come into force in September - but it is not a novelty, because they have not reached the drive chain.
With 28 g / km CO2 emissions and 1.2 liters of average consumption, the Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid is not an environmentally destructive vehicle, but we haven't known how clean it is. Now we know that the car will meet the melodic Euro 6d-Temp EVAP-ISC emission standard, which will be binding from September this year without any run-up (ie modifications).
The Euro 6d-Temp EVAP-ISC takes a more stringent approach to emissions from stationary evaporative fuels, and the environmental performance of the vehicle during its lifetime (5 years).
So this is the biggest news, but there are also some changes: in the passenger compartment there are piano shells, a new multimedia system, and finally a three-seat rear seat (the strictly two-seat session so far). The range of security features is very long at the basic price - a car with a single equipment level is available in three versions elsewhere, but the entry level equipment is roughly the same - the head-up display, the parking robot and the 360-degree panoramic camera system are everywhere a premium item, or just higher available at equipment level.
