For seventy years, Jaguar has been producing sports cars; for this, a special edition of the F-Type model series was produced.
The checkered flag embellishes the tail, headrest and doorstep of the Jubilee F-Type coupons and convertibles - a reminder of the introduction of the XK120 in 1948. The steering wheel also has a flag emblem, marked with a red insert at the top, and the indoor environment is defined by Windsor leather sports seats and ebony leather upholstery; the dashboard has a dark aluminum insert.
An additional advantage of the birthday specs is that for the first time Apple's CarPlay and Android Auto features are offered on-board multimedia.
Neither the drive chain nor the chassis has been tuned: anniversary specimens can be driven by a 300-hp four-cylinder or 340 or 380 hp V6, with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Nor is it bad for the F-Type R model in the new model year: there are no flags on it, but the chassis has been tuned, making it more comfortable at low speeds and tighter at large.
From now on, the rear camera and the front parking radar are standard on every F-Type.
