LEVC continues to expand in Europe, the next stop will be Hungary. The London car manufacturer finds the Hungarian market attractive in terms of e-mobility and its support, so it joins.
It targets a new market and thus the London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC), known for its world-famous London taxis, will also appear in Hungary. The Gablini Group will help Volvo's sister brand in joining the domestic market by selling and supporting the TX, which will extend to its new electric van, the VN5, from spring 2021. The Gablini Group is pleased to represent LEVC in Hungary, which is known for its premium electric vehicles, and innovation and caring for a sustainable future are one of the cornerstones of our company. We are the first in Hungary to sell modern electric vehicles, because we believe that there is a demand here for light commercial vehicles and taxis with an increasing range, quoting the words of Gábor Gablini in the LEVC announcement. The owner of the Gablini Group added: "We believe that LEVC's new, innovative products fit perfectly into our portfolio."
"Hungary has a clear vision for e-mobility, encouraging operators to switch to zero-carbon vehicles in several ways," commented Joerg Hofmann, CEO of LEVC. "I look forward to working with the Gablini Group to establish our brand and products in this progressive market."
In addition to its entry into Hungary, LEVC argues that the green license plate can save electric car owners a significant amount of money through tax exemptions or rebates, VAT reductions, personal income tax rebates and subsidized loans, as well as in Budapest and larger cities. The TX Shuttle, like the model’s taxi design, is powered by eCity technology. It can cover more than 510 kilometers, 101 of which are purely electric and have zero emissions.
The TX is equipped with a number of comfort and safety extras, including wheelchairs for unobstructed travel, and the cab can be detached so payment can be made without contact at the rear. The surfaces are easy to clean and continuous and clear communication between the driver and passengers is aided by an intercom system.
