You can get the V8 engine from Lexus IS with which its predecessor created the Lexus F sports brand.
If all goes well, Lexus will replace the IS with a purely electric sedan within two years. This may explain why the news that the 5.0-liter V8 intake engine will be brought back into the series by Lexus has flared up.
The 477-horsepower engine has so far been available to customers with a four-door body, but with the retirement of the GS, that opportunity has waned - the RC and LC coupes remain. According to the editors of Japan’s Carsensor.net, the IS sedan could get this block in October this year. The weird thing is that instead of the usual IS F, the IS 500 could be the name of the model - this obviously suggests that, like the LC 500, it will be more of a high-performance touring car than a brutal sports sedan.
