They make 19 pieces of Aston Martin designed for the 100th anniversary of Zagato, together with the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation, worth £ 6 million.
Founded in 1919 by Ugo Zagato, the independent Milan bodywork workshop celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. The Italian company has successfully overcome the times and have been constantly developing. They worked with manufacturers such as Ferrari or Alfa Romeo, but they are not only popular in their home country, as is the fact that BMW has already made cars, and the English Aston Martin is often a recurring customer.
Now the English are preparing for this great occasion with a really special and poignant rarity car, inspired by the DB4 GT Zagato and based on the fresh DBS. Along with the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation, the price of the new package is £ 6 million. Only 19 copies of the specialty, made of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic, are completely backward, so the view is solved with a digital rear view. Typically, the asteroid-shaped cooling mask consists of 108 carbon sheets that open the fresh air as required.
Like the DBS Superlegger, the Zagato also has a 5.2-liter bit-turbocharged V12 engine that delivers 725 hp at 6500 rpm, with 900 Nm from 1800 to 5000. It can accelerate to 3.4 seconds in its original form and has a top speed of 340 km / h.
