Only 130 copies will be made of Lotus Evija, Britain's first electric hyperport car. Evija does not only bring new ones in the drive chain.
With a brand new design language, Evija, the first electric car of the British manufactory, presents a unique single-piece carbon fiber monocoque frame structure in the street.
The two-person car behind the seats is the 2000-kilowatt battery pack developed by Williams Advanced Engineering. The batteries are easy to replace, so the car can keep up with the developments and quickly turn it back into use, allowing you to compete.
The charging itself is ultra-fast: the developers say it is the fastest rechargeable battery in the world. Rechargeable at 350 kW, the car can be charged to 100% in 18 minutes, but you can charge up to 800 kW if there are such chargers on the market.
The range is 400 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle - obviously in normal use.
The four wheels are driven by a separate electric motor. They are housed in a common house with their own power transmission system; the latter is only a 100 mm thick planetary structure.
The target weight of the car is only 1680 kg, which is amazing with a total output of 2000 horsepower (a torque of 1700 Nm). The free height is 105 mm.
Available in five tuning ranges from economical to racing mode, Evija doesn't have to take 3 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h and its top speed is over 320 km / h. From the standing position, the car accelerates to 300 in less than 9 seconds.
