Although the car's shorter predecessor, the larger wheelbase at the rear has increased footprint (but decreased in the front), the boot is more spacious, wider and deeper than before. The 40:20:40 rear seat can be pushed back and forth by 140 mm.
The second generation of the Mercedes GLA has become more spacious, streamlined, safer and crossover-like. It will also become a plug-in hybrid.
The new-generation Mercedes-Benz GLA is more than 10 centimeters taller than its predecessor, giving more space to the front of the front seat, despite the fact that both front seats are higher and with a more straight back - so there's no problem with lowering the front foot.

So the designers did a good job, especially as the car became more streamlined, with a 0.28 fluid resistance coefficient instead of 0.29. Optimizing the outline of the roof pillars resulted in a better circular view.
Not only does the taller construction make the car more crossover, but also the robust casings and standard off-road package for all-wheel drive, which includes bespoke control and auxiliary mode program, as well as a unique off-road lighting program (adaptive headlights).
The car will also be safer: it prevents you from crashing on turns, detects a traffic jam, warns pedestrians approaching the zebra, and brakes if you see an obstacle in front of you.
