The standard six-speed manual transmission comes straight from the Shelby GT350: it helps with reversals with automatic gas injection, and the transmission oil cooler helps to withstand the higher demands. A custom-tuned ten-speed automatic is also available as an option. They worked a lot on aerodynamics. The nose design is new, the bottom plate is flat, and the clamping force can be increased by 50 percent with an optional aerodynamic package. Of course, the chassis has also changed, everything is tighter, harder, more precise.
The new flagship model will be available in North America next spring, with no information yet on its distribution in Europe.
