The luxury electric brand, Polestar, which has spun off from Volvo, will soon launch the Precept limousine, unveiled in February, which not only protects the environment with its powertrain.
Not a study car, but the essence of the brand’s vision: this is how the Precept concept vehicle was introduced by Polestar at the time. Two months later, the narrative was different: by then, it turned out that the press and the public liked the car too much, so the factory promised: they would find a way to get it into production.
And this is now a fact, not a promise: an eco-brand independent of Volvo’s former sports division has announced that it has begun developing the series model. In addition, the Precept, which is also in line with the Sustainability Declaration, will be produced in a new, carbon-neutral, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in China. Polestar 1 is also made in China, in a plant that runs on 100 percent renewable energy.
In the cabin of the Polestar Precept, we find materials made from recycled PET bottles, bad fishing nets salvaged from the sea and used cork stoppers. A flax-based composite was used both inside and out. You can read about many more details of the study car by clicking here .
